📣VentureVillage is proud to announce the launch of our Sustainable Menstrual Care Initiative in a webinar being conducted for students of St. Teresa’s College! The Webinar, being conducted in partnership with HLL Lifecare Ltd. (HLL), will see the inauguration of the My Period, My Pride course for 1060 students from St. Teresa’s College. The chief guest for the event is Prof. Mini Sukumar, Expert Member, State Planning Board, Kerala. The event will also see a message by Dr. Lizzy Mathew, Principal, St. Teresa’s College. The objective of the Sustainable Menstrual Care initiative is the creation of a pool of Sustainable Menstruation Mentors who can guide menstruators of all ages regarding the health and environmental benefits of reusable menstrual care products. 📣 Announcing our partnership with the Women's cell of St.Teresa's College, Ernakulam. The first year students of St. Teresa's College, Eranakulam will be doing our program My Period My Pride.As part of this course 1000+ students will be educated on menstrual health and hygiene, managing physical and mental well being during periods and common misconception and myths about this topic. Another important topic covered is the use of reusable products and sustainable menstruation practices, which can do less damage to the environment. This will not only empower them with much needed information, but all also make them mentors for the coming generation.
